Week 4

For this week, we continue to work on individual projects.       We have some progress in the team project this week. We set up the Redux, Firebase, React Bootstrap, and React Material.       We choose Redux for state management. It is very helpful when we deal with a lot of different data and many features. Firebase is also good for our work. It has a real-time database, authorization, storage, and deployment.       We also assigned to making the Homepage, Header, Footer, and Navigation bar. These parts are not difficult. In the progress, we will have to import routers and links between pages.       These elements will be finished at the end of this week so we will finish all the base of the web app. We just need to build up the project. So, for next week, we can start focusing on each feature.

Week 3

For this week, our group has prepared two tech-tutorials in React Bootstrap and React Hook. These tutorials help us learn more about React and prepare important knowledge for our final web app project.  React Bootstrap supports the UI design and time for developers.  React Hook supports better use of state and function.  It also gives more efficient code.       Moreover, while everyone focuses on the individual project so we have made small progress in the web app project. We have set up the app base so we can start working on the team project. We also committed the code to Github.      Our job for next week is working more on the individual projects and assigning tasks for each person on the team project.

Week 2

For this week, there are two tasks: Tech Tutorial and Final Team Idea.       For the Tech Tutorial, our group has two teams. One team is working on React Bootstraps and one team is working on React Hooks.       For the Final Team Idea, we have changed and improved our idea for the team project. This week, we received feedback for our Team Project Proposal. The feedback is very useful so we decided to adjust our project.  We will focus on the to-do-list feature. The app will have a dashboard, to-do-list, and report.  Users can select a date from the calendar and add the todos items to that due date. If users do not need the due date, they can choose the "Create" button to make new to-do items without any due date; items with the due date can use the "Create" button too.  Then, each item will have a tag (the name of that checklist) Finish group project (tag: CSC490, homework) Do Biology HW (tag: BIOL314, homework) ...

This week, we started with the idea of making a web app, which  personalized productivity dashboard that offers tools like note-taking, task management, planner, tracking expenses, and reminders which are required for an effective workflow. The dashboard will include the preview of key features, plus some extras such as a weather widget and/or chatbox. The main focus of our app will be college students, who struggle with deadlines and postpone completing work. Here are some UI from our app: This is the dashboard This is the report This is the note-taking This is the calendar This is the way how you can create events This will help you track your money
